Meet Our Staff

The staff at our Russell Auto Inc. a/k/a Portland Transmission Exchange service and repair center are all highly trained and certified technicians with one common goal in mind - quality service at honest prices. Our transmission center is diligent in applying the ATRA Member Code of Ethics to all of our transmission repair and diagnostic services for the purpose of better assisting our customers with their repair needs and concerns. Adherence to the ATRA Code of Ethics also helps ensure that when you bring in your vehicle for transmission service or repair you know that you are receiving honest and professional service from our technical staff. Our transmission technicians are always polite and courteous in their effort to provide you with the quality of service you want and deserve.

Jennifer is the daughter of Wayne Russell and has grown up in the transmission industry. She recently started working full time handling the accounting, business marketing and day to day operations. Tory is our 3'rd generation of the family business. He specializes in diagnostics and managing our award winning service department. He is an avid bicyclist, competing in races in the northeast. Tory has worked with Russell Auto Inc. for over 14 years!

Wayne Russell - President

Wayne Russell

Wayne grew up in transmissions. He graduated from high school and entered college as an engineering major. After 2 years, he decided to go to work with his father, Wes and began his full time career specializing in transmissions. Wayne is deeply involved in the industry. Past director of Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association (ATRA), founded and current vice president of the NE Chapter. Member of the Sonnax Task Force, the leading group of industry experts that develop part solutions used world wide. The list goes on. Wayne's past times are scuba diving, underwater photography & video, go kart racing, playing guitar & his grandson, Dylan! Wayne also serves as chairman for the automotive department at Manchester School of technolgy. He serves on the advisory board of Manchester Community College. Wayne & Russell Auto Inc. are members of the SONNAX TASC FORCE as well as the Raybestos Transmission Products Group. Recently, Wayne became a director of the Maintenence Association of the Granite State (MAGS).
